‘A Portrait of the Laver Cup‘ by Rod Laver

  • Share this:

One of the game’s greatest players, Rod Laver twice won all four Grand Slam® singles titles in a calendar year, as an amateur in 1962, and again in 1969, the only man to have done so in the Open era. The Laver Cup, debuting this year, is an exciting new team competition between Europe and the rest of the world. It will feature 12 of the top men’s players, led by captains Björn Borg and John McEnroe. The Laver Cup is a fitting tribute to a man who always played with his heart and soul. #Rolex
